Ain Ounah, or the Oasis of Elim, is a very significant stop on the way to Mount Horeb. This place is described in Exodus and by Josephus to have 12 wells and 70 palm trees.

There are many trees and ancient wells in location. The local Midianite people say this is one of the places Moses visited while in Midian.
